This virus spreads by infecting applications that are open when you run the infected application. It disguises itself as the anti-virus program Disinfectant. A message may appear indicating that Disinfectant is trying to change the System file (even if you do not have Disinfectant). The T4-A virus can damage start-up code and application files and cause extension conflicts. Delete infected applications and reinstall them.
